《論語》《里仁》4.2 :

子曰：「不仁者不可以久處約，不可以長處樂。仁者安仁，知者利仁。」

The Master said, “Those who are without virtue cannot abide long either in a condition of poverty and hardship, or in a condition of enjoyment. The virtuous rest in virtue; the wise desire virtue.”

【Alternative translation】The Master said, “Loveless men cannot bear need long, they cannot bear fortune long. Loving men find peace in love, the wise find profit in it.”

【語譯】孔子說：「無品德的人，忍受不了貧窮，享受不了快樂。仁者安於仁，智者利於仁。」

【试译】孔子说：“不仁的人，不可以长久忍受穷困，不可以长久享受富贵。仁者以仁安身立命，智者因仁得益。”
