《論語》《為政》2.11 :
子曰:「溫故而知新,可以為師矣。」
The Master said, “If a man keeps cherishing his old knowledge, so as continually to be acquiring new, he may be a teacher of others.”
【Alternative translation】The Master said, “To keep old knowledge warm and get new makes the teacher.”
【原文】子曰:「温故而知新,可以为师矣。」
【白话解】 孔子说:「能从温习旧知当中,领悟出新的道理来,就可以为人师表了。」(按钱穆先生注:教学合一,温故必求知新,能学然后能教。)
【试译】孔子说:“温习旧学问而触发新感悟,就可以做老师了。”
