《論語》《雍也》6.23 :

子曰：「知者樂水，仁者樂山；知者動，仁者靜；知者樂，仁者壽。」

The Master said, “The wise find pleasure in water; the virtuous find pleasure in hills. The wise are active; the virtuous are tranquil. The wise are joyful; the virtuous are long-lived.”

【Alternative translation】The Master said, “Wisdom delights in water; love delights in hills. Wisdom is stirring; love is quiet. Wisdom is merry; love grows old.”

【原文】子曰：「知者乐水，仁者乐山。知者动，仁者静。知者乐，仁者寿。」

【白话解】孔子说：「智者喜好水，仁者喜好山。智者常动，仁者常静。智者常乐，仁者长寿。」※ 按钱穆先生注：水性活泼流通无滞碍，智者相似故乐之。山性安稳厚重，万物生于其中，仁者性与之合，故乐之。

【试译】孔子说：“智者乐如水，仁者乐如山。智者灵动，仁者宁静。智者快乐，仁者长寿。”
